WATER HAS ITS OWN STORY TO TELL

This coming Monday, people in Palma will be able to listen to “The Message of Water” a scientific journey being led by Japanese writer and researcher Masaru Emoto into how crystals react to different musical sounds and the intonation of spoken words.

STAFF REPORTER/ Palma.

Palma´s Sophia Foundation has asked the scientist to come to Palma as of a series of activities related to the United Nations´ programme entitled “A Decade for Water”. The conference, being sponsored jointly by Hasso Rent a car, Sol Melia and Spanair, will be held in the Auditorium on the Paseo Marítimo, and tickets will be available in advance from the Sophia Foundation at calle Jaime Ferrer 3 (next to La Lonja) from 6-10 pm up to 7th April. Doctor Emoto has made an extensive study of the components of water at a global level, not simply from a scientific point of view but also analysing its independent response to its immediate environment and as a “thinker”. He has discovered that water is connected with both our individual and collective consciousness.

Emoto claims that in conjunction with a colleague, doctor Ishibashi, distilled water had been placed in receptacles between two loud speakers which aired a whole range of musical styles from classical though to Buddhist chants. Water, he says, is capable of responding to vibrations and “storing” their effects.
