“Palma Digit Art” at the Sophia Foundation

    The Sophia Foundation will exhibit an attractive and colorful exhibition of digital art, “Palma Digit Art”, inviting all the Palma citizens to see their town “with other eyes”, using new digital techniques, which are making their way in the art world, from September 7 until October 25 at its headquarters located in Calle Jaime Ferrer, 3, in Palma.

   The work of the versatile and creative graphic artist, Palma born José Luis Gil Miró, invites us to “look back at the city of Palma with other eyes, to look for tose hidden and surprising corners that go unnoticed on a daily basis, because of our habits or the stress in which our actual world keeps us absorbed.”

   The exhibition highlights, with digital photograhps with creative touches, tose little details riddled with beauty, history and romanticism, magical places with tremendous poetry that rock in the presence of tose who slow down for a minute and stop observe the world around them to enjoy the simple pleasure of observing some of the marvellous and peculiar things that surround us. “We consider it suitable to host the interesting exhibition of this young Palma artist, because with his pictures he captivates tose historical and imaginative illustrations of the city that impresses us so much”, said the President of the Sophia Foundation, Francis J. Vilar. “Apart from being an attractive and expresive exhibition, it will motivate the iamgination of many young people who are starting to learn the new artistic techniques and a fresh invitation to all Palma citizens to see all the endearing corners of the Palma with other eyes”, added Profesor Vilar. “We are pleased to sponsor this unique exhibition as it si reflects the harmonious combination of vanguard techniques with the historical patrimony of Palma”, said André G.
